BASSETERRE ST KITTS - After a long day of nominations and celebrations on Tuesday July 26, 2022, candidates of the St Kitts Nevis Labour Party (SKNLP) thanked their supporters for the ultimate show of confidence. Conaree Lawn in constituency 8 (C8) was the scene of another massive and successful campaign rally on Wednesday July 27, 2022. Members of the prospective Government mentioned family, friends, and the two constituents that nominated them in their thank-you spiel.
In addition to the gratitude shown by the candidates, each briefly touched on one of the Seven (7) Pillars of positive change as the DIGITAL MANIFESTO APP was highlighted. These pylons of ideas would be dealt with at length in SKNLP’s next campaign event on Thursday July 28 at 5.30pm. On this day the SKNLP returns to Cuna Conference Center and Parking Lot for a deep dive into the manifesto. This site hosted Labour’s candidate reveal in April 2022 and since then the SKNLP has gathered more momentum than all other parties who had to scramble to find candidates after the Team Unity Government imploded.
Event after event has demonstrated the people's need for change. They are looking toward the real Labour Party for answers. Questions surrounding PAP, Peace, houses, good governance, jobs, entertainment, small business, the economy, sports, and various other pillars of development have been answered by all candidates, A confident A-Team continues to deliver a message of hope and Conaree was no exception.
During the presentation by C3 candidate Konris Maynard, he announced that the National Carnival queen Nekirah Nicholls, had just won the Miss Jaycees 2022 title in Antigua. Another spectacular night came to an end with a memo of LOVE and INCLUSION by Dr Terrance Drew, the man positioned to replace Dr Timothy Harris as Prime Minister of St Kitts Nevis. The St Kitts Nevis Labour Party continues to exemplify innovative confidence that the change many citizens desire, is not beyond the horizon anymore. The reality comes to fruition on August 5, 2022…Election Day.
